Reviews
- This contains a lot of good music but Spirits up above is a MF. It's one of my favorites of his. My only criticism of his taste was his love for covers. It could have been label influence but I wonder bc the large amount of them. I have to admit that he does some funny stuff with the covers sometimes like mixing Coltrane with Say little prayer.
What a great catalog, I have owned almost everything he has released and I'm rarely disappointed, but his later LPs are lackluster overall to my ears.
There is a Coltrane tribute on side B.
