Reviews
- Have I just been unlucky with a seller here or has anybody else got an unusually crackly sounding release, especially on the quiet parts?
- Unsure where the weird BPM's come from, I'm counting A:138/B: 140...
Sure Pev's amazingly weird rhythm's does strange things, but 92/93? Nah. - Great soundtextures, great basslines, great atmosphere and absolutely SICK artwork. The sounds here slowly slips into your subconsciousness. Although it may differ from the more sweaty dub explorations on the label these tracks are just as mesmerizing and hypnotic. The feeling of space is especially present on the aptly-titled 'Circling' where the washes of sound seem to circle up into the mists of time. 'Over Here' uses the same recipe, but ends in ambient bliss during the last 2 minutes or so. I really think this EP is a highpoint for the Skull Disco label.
