- "I Believe" is also available here as Fierce Ruling Diva – You Gotta Believe (Garage Version)
- Edited 15 years ago"Believe" is an absolute gem of a track with deep warm pads over fantastically produced drum track. For me, the rest of the ep is fairly average though.
- Edited 18 years agoWonderfull collaboration between Abraxas (of Fierce ruling diva Fame) and Frequency (aka Orlando Voorn, Holland's "Detroit" techno God) on this release. 6 trax from a two day recording session somewhere in may 1991. Most tracks sound like little fingerexercises for future releases or remixes of other trax on the Lower East Side Catalog.
Fantastic A side with the typical spasmic techno rhythms where Orlando Voorn is known for, mixed with the favourite military like heavy house rhythms courtesy of Jef Flamman, and with added spicy "Let me hear you tap" hysteric diva cries, Nice !! I Believe and "Bullshit on wax" use trademark FRD sounds like the "I believe" vocal and the "Jimmy Plant/Led Zeppelin" shouts mixed with Orlando's techno trickery. Worth checking out and a small glance at a (at that time) distant future !!
