    I can explain this, ... the A+C and B+D-system was created especially for radio stations. Any radio station has got two turntables, so while table#1 is playing Side A, they are able to setup and have Side B ready (as it was pressed onto the second disc) to go, as soon as Side A is finished. Then this system could continue. While Side B is playing on turntable#2, they are able to turn over Disc 1 on turntable #1, setup Side C and have it ready to play as soon as Side B is finished. This would give the listeners the idea that we were actually in the studio. All of this would not work if Side A and Side B were pressed on the same disc.
