Hey man, you're reading about an album that absolutely blew your mind when it came out, but wow, 30 years later it's still an example of top-level street music. 14 tracks, 14 mind-blowing hits.
Personally, I think the jazz in the mix is a bit low, more oriented 90s acid, except for a few tracks. But I love the NY feel here.
Sounds incredibly wide and pristine as can be on a Impulse records production.
