When I heard this for the first time I was at odds with the neighbors shouting. Strange. Possibly the only people in the world who would do this.

If you don’t believe - please feel free to check out this story that was covered when footage of Richard D. James with images of two giant bears running across the aisle, shaved with their beards back to the awarding party. Grotesque. A good story though! which I will like to tell my Grand Kids.

Outstanding record...
Can't say more, also I don't want to say more.
This simply speaks for itself.

Thanks Richard, honestly, thank you for doing what you do.

Not groundbreaking in any way, but for those liking AFX it is a worthwhile purchase.

I got a noisy copy of this ep as the LTD edition from a local record store, so I emailed Warp about getting a new one (along with a receipt and straight from the line-out on my tt recordings) and I finally got around to unwrapping the replacement record, and giving it a play. From a record noise front, I'll report that it is indeed better, but there's still a few audible cracks here and there in a fresh copy of this. While it's still a little disappointing that this pressing still has some noise, it is MUCH MUCH better. I'm not sure if later pressing of the ltd edition are still affected by this or not, or if it's only regular pressings, but it seems Warp has ironed out whatever kinks that led to that surface noise.

boring album that proves that people will buy and praise just about anything.. plus theres literally no reason to not include more tracks on 80 minute cds. what a rip off. we all know that aphex is trying to convince us he is responsible for my numeric schemes. dont be fooled.. the least he could have done is tried to present a listenable experience but this is just self indulgent music that producers other than aphex will be upset at the positive critical response for. if pitchfork says this is a 8.1 and new moon is an 8.7 then what about everyone rated lower than 8.1? like sure i like some of his songs and concepts like pulsewidth and 4 and flim but you could basically find 10,000 better eps than this on soundcloud or bandcamp.

Got this yesterday. It sounds pretty great, and I love the bassline/low end! :D

Sounds great. No surface noise. Loads of musical noise. Lotttts of low end.
