Reviews
- The record is a 5/5 album, a timeless classic. This reissue sounds very good, although my copy came very warped and has distortion in small fragments of tracks A4, B2, B4... maybe I was unlucky
- Like many (I imagine), I only 'discovered' FELT through a post on one of the popular U.S. audio forums (fora?). Wow, how could I have missed such an outrageously talented band? If you like Tom Verlaine/Lou Reed, you more than likely will love FELT. This is one of the very best albums in FELT's excellent discography. The late Martin Duffy sounds out of this world on what is, largely, a keyboards driven soundscape. It is truly one of those great, but mostly unknown indie rock albums of the 1980s or any decade, in fact. This reissue is experlty pressed by Optimal Media and the mastering by Kevin Metcalfe sounds wonderful on my set up. A true gem that should be in every music lover's collection.
- I’m new to the party with this band (I don’t know how I missed them in the 80’s) but I love this record! And the pressing sounds great (the sleeve is really thin though).
- Edited 4 years agoPackaging leaves a little to be desired at the price. Extremely thin gatefold-never seen anything like it before, no text on the spine, album stored in plastic sleeve. But the record itself does sound excellent!
- Wanted this, though I have the Japanese reissue cds. Yesterday I happily found a mint/sealed copy here in the US for $23.99+ $2.99 shipping, because after seeing import copies here in stores priced at $37.99 + tax I wasn't going to bother.
