Very decent sounding record keeping in mind it screams lo-fi. Found it more dynamic than how it sounds in Apple Music

I’m gonna be honest…I don’t really hear much of what is driving some of the complaints in this comment box. I mean you can kind of hear a bit of surface noise between songs, but there’s nothing I heard that distracted from the music. Didn’t really notice any kind of light ticks from surface noise or anything either. I’d say grab this if you really like this album. Such a hypnotic listen!

Right from the Tonetta-like opener Charlotte’s Thong through to the weepy Les Be Honest, NZ’s Connan Mockasin keeps you transfixed by his mopey adolescent narrative, even if most of the lyrics are unintelligible. His yodelly whine occasionally grates, but set amidst the greasy guitar and snippets of dialogue, it tells the story perfectly. James Blake’s feature on Momo’s might be the best thing he’s done in years.

quite a lot of noise/sparkling across both sides, when comparing to other new records we got recently. but it's somewhat ok, if listening at a lower than mid volume. a bit disappointing, because the album itself is just amazing. comes with download code n all. ugh.. will keep it. good memories from the live concert.

There is some noise in the pressing but it sounds pretty good to me. Super clear and overall recording was so good.

I have the US pressing with the pink sticker on the plastic wrap and without the poster. Mine sounds great, although the grooves leading in and out of side a and b are quite noisy. Doesn't bother me, it rather adds to the jassbusters aesthetic in a way. Have no clue why people are having issues with the quality of their record, such a shame for such a great album..

Yep, sounds much much better on the old unfashionable Compact Disc.
