- Edited 4 years agoDeep808's tune is just sublime and as his moniker suggests, the track on offer her is just that...effing deep in fact!! With cavernous bass, rumbling sub work, great atmospherics but most importantly a tune that rolls with very nicely edited drum patterns it's enough to buy this release alone.... but wait! There's more!!
Paranoid One uses what I think is vocal sample from Soul 2 Soul (please correct me if I'm wrong) over nicely syncopated drums to great effect with other sci-fi sounds which reminds me a bit of the kind of thing Danny Breaks released back in the day.
And to finish off Phuture T (who I always look forward to when I see something from him) gives us a Metalheadz sounding affair with careful edited drums that twist and turn over a haunting piano line.
All in all, an outstanding E.P from Alphacut
