Love it. Super sound. Makes me smile every time i put it on
probably one of the cleanest vinyl pressings i have ever heard. thankfully that quality of vinyl is carrying such a solid selection of music. this has been my most frequently rotated prince album as of late. soooo good.- Edited 6 years agoI liked the first playing of Piano & Microphone very much and I played it (oh miracle) three times in a row. Something I haven't done since crystal ball. I also often thought about (to hear) Jamie Starr. Since I had not much heard the bootleg before, after 20 years it's finally a release Prince portrayed the Prince that hooked me back then.
And that's why I couldn't understand the moaning about on the various platforms and board why The Prince Estate didn't choose something else "better" for the first posthumous release. Frankly it even annoyed me that people are unsatisfied in public about unfulfilled personal expectations... however: I like the release and I’m happy with the Deluxe Edition. (half price on Record fair on Saturday, no idea why they ask so little price)
