Reviews
- Edited 11 months agoA great retrospective of songs that Phil played drums on or co-produced, etc.
This is the ONLY place to find the FULL uncut take of "Pick up the Pieces".
Great that so many of the John Martyn collaborations are represented here, but these selections have Phil singing and not drumming. Why not include some of the stellar tracks from Martyn's "Glorious Fool" album, where Phil not only was the drummer, but the producer as well?
The live tracks are all welcome, as most of these were never available on an audio cd previously. Having said that, it would have been great to have some selections from the 1986 Concert Video "Eric Clapton & Friends".
The Lil Kim track is a total waste of space, and a strange "Collaboration" to begin with IMO.
