My copy sounds great with no pressing issues-- I just wish it was longer.

guess I got lucky, my copy sounds quite nice. had the same good luck with my first pressing of skeleton tree which many people also had issues with. great performances of some of the best songs from the recent tours. it is a shame that the relatively stripped-back KCRW record is the only full live release from the post-push the sky away era as the bad seeds continue to be one of best live bands around.

Shitty pressing as already stated many times below. Wanted to sell it immediately until I heard From her to Eternity. Fantastic version and due to the heavy nature of the song you can‘t hear the damn crackles.
EDIT: cleaned it on a professional record cleaning machine. Sounds significantly better. Still far from being perfect though.

Where did Warren Ellis's violin part go in Jubilee Street?

Beautiful performances marred by a shameful vinyl pressing. Bad Seed really needs to get their shit together in terms of the way they press their records as they are consistently subpar. A lot of the problems lie with these stiff and hard cardboard inner sleeves that scuff the hell out of the records right out of their jackets. Thank christ they include the MP3 codes, I guess.

The B side of my pressing is off center. The arm moves about 5mm in either direction as it's playing. I exchanged my first copy and the second copy is the same. Not very noticeable on From Her To Eternity, but very noticeable on Mercy Seat.

I was at this show. It was a great show. The sound was awesome, especially considering its a large venue with 16.000 people. But for me personally, it was too big. I prefer Cave in much smaller venues. I have seen them live for the past 20 years or so, and Cave is best when you can get close. The intimacy with 1500 people is where Cave is at his best. You want him close, you want his band close, the stories, the music...

Forget all these nit-picking technical complaints - the version of "Jubilee Street" sets a new benchmark for the most astounding live performance ever captured. Even if it was pressed on a sandpaper disc.

My copy isn't too bad as far as surface noise. The record was noticiably dirty, it needs a good cleaning. First play though, I couldn't hear too much surface noise. The mix could be better, but for me its not an issue. My biggest complaint is the 192 kbps download. 2018 and artists are still releasing music in a low bit rate format. There should be an option for lossless. Overall, I'm satisfied with this release. Hope the movie comes out on blu-ray.

I'm a massive Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds fan but have returned this for a refund as the pressing is very poor and has a high level of surface noise. After all the problems we had with the bead pressing of Skeleton Tree you'd have thought they would have sorted this problem out!
