This is the album that started it all for me.

In high school, I borrowed some records from my friend's parents. In that stack was Macky Feary Band. It was a great album and I returned it a few weeks later. But it wasn't until a few years later when I heard the song "A Million Stars" in DJ Muro's Hawaiian Breaks mix that it hit me, harder than ever: the beauty of this song, Mackey's voice, and the sound unlike anything else I'd known to come from Hawaii at that time. I knew I had to dig deeper and find more.

Thank you Mackey, DJ Muro, and also Chucky Souza ~ the composer of this song! Without you Aloha Got Soul wouldn't exist!
