It was not the last one, but it feels to me like it was the last time Jerry Fuchs was playing with The Juan MacLean. I remember Happy House played live by them, around 2008, in a really expansive moment, for minutes and minutes, entering acid lines, theremins, cowbells, tambourines and Jerry Fuchs almost making the whole stage crumble with his energy. Though there are several tunes after this one that I like from Nancy Whang and Juan, I again feel like a lot of the direction was lost with the very sad and unfortunate loss of Jerry.

Anyway, this one is a very DFA take on piano house, played often at the time, but now so niche and so dated as that scene was pigeonhole to small corners of niches. I understand that the DFA take on hipster electronics, replacing so many artists that have been doing that for so long but without that A Certain Ratio attitude, was so popular that it become a bit hated, but when The Juan MacLean are good, they are really good.
