for those inclined to look back at the development of house and techno, i'd suggest these recordings call for a bit of revisionist history. Before Rob Hood or DBX turned to minimal techno and before Maurizio turned to dub, there was the Xes Noiz EP. Truly a significant entry into the annals of dance music, beautifully re-presented (keeping the original labels!) here by SH. Thanks to all parties involved for making this one available to a new era.
xes noize is that perfect slightly twisted protodub-techno youve always needed with enough jah mysticism and dub echo 2 send u off to the space dust. feel the joy is the primo cut on the lockgroove side of things, deranged soulful demonic house at its best.
