Sorry for my English cause I’m French ;) have you noticed there is a misprint on the vinyl itself (Toxic instead of Toxicity) that can make us think it is an unofficial(all the unofficial don’t have this misprint like the official 2001).Now I noticed on the inner sleeve in the down and right part under the logo American recordings,it is written 2001,2018 Columbia records that make me think all the others editions from previous years are unofficial. My theory is that they did it on purpose to differenciate the official editions from 2018 with all the other unofficial editions that were sold). What do you think about it?

I personally had no issues with my copy. Lovely pressing, no surface noise or anything. Classic album, 100% recommend.

Personally I don't have much problems with this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the record especially after reading all the reviews here. My copy is flat and quiet (as much as vinyl format allows it to be) and doesn't have any defects. As for the sound itself - I enjoyed it quite a bit tbh. Although, I am not the biggest audiophile out there but I reckon the sound quality would be sufficient for 95% of people. I probably would agree that mastering could have been done better but it's still pleasant to my ears. The packaging is fine, yeah, the cover is not the highest quality but It's not that big of a deal and the printed inner sleeve with artwork and lyrics is a nice touch I think. Overall, would recommend if you want this great album on vinyl.

The quality of this pressing is horrible. No listening pleasure at all. I prefer listening on youtube...

Yeah I was not a fan of the sound on this one, same sound as you’d get on a CD

Some of the most incredible work soad has put out. Such a fun record, so much dynamic, sounds great

I wasn't expecting a great sounding LP, but I'm kinda surprised. For such a brickwalled digital source, I found this pressing very dynamic. The quieter parts are quiet, the explosive ones are punchy and very clear, especially the drums. This pressing blows my CD away. The only con is the artwork. The front cover is pixelated, and the inner sleeve is just a lazy collage with the photos taken from the CD booket.

Maybe I'm becoming deaf but the sound is unstable on this one. I hear difference in sound level on this one. It is flat and no noise or bigger problem with distortion. 2M Bronze, Technics SL-1200GR, Wharfedale Linton 85 when it comes to equipment. When I listen to presses from MOV (like Korn) it sounds amazing. SOAD reissues are nothing special. It is not as bad as in some comments but if you think there is any "vinyl magic" here you don't even need to bother. You'll not find it here.

It sounds OK, nothing exceptional here. The mastering could have been better.
