- A unbelievable sound on vinyl - and a live performance from Fleetwood Mac : you feel the past band historic culminate in a symbiose of great single musicians to a great band perfomance together
- Mine has B1 30704-01 / RI-46702 / 0603497856824 in the runout. Also I have a made in Germany sticker on the back. I’m guessing I have a recent repress but zero information on the jacket stating so.
I agree with the other comments, a very good and quiet pressing. I’m hopeful that a future release will have the entire show. - A must have sounds so mush better than the CD. This record sounds so good it will bring a little tear to your eye 🥰
- I never thought this record of all the ones in my collection would be my best sounding one. It's just pure unfiltered quality.
- Edited one year agoBeing sold out I found the last one on a just post lockdown opened HMV, Bingo! Reprise finally made a good European pressing of FM. This is a recording of the digital era so what do you get from the Vinyl version? To start it seems the CD version was a victim of the Loudness war as per https://dr.loudness-war.info. The Vinyl doesn't have that issue, it sounds very Dynamic, bass is leaner in comparison to streaming but for me is a bless as I find the Hi-Re streaming version over bloated. On the other hand you will get the good things of digital, very low surface noise that gives an impressive recreation of the live recording. recording that in my opinion is the best Live recording of FM. Usually "it Sounds like a CD" is an insult for a vinyl album, but I will say in other way, The Dance vinyl sounds like CDs should.
- I was expecting this to be a nasty compressed broadcast TV bad-quality recording - But NO!... actually this sounds dynamic and is worth having!
- Edited 3 years agoThe best live album of Fleetwood Mac in my opinion. I also recommend the DVD. Unfortunately they left out Gold Dust Woman.
