- I miss I've Got You Under My Skin on this double release. It could be featured on the D side rather than the techno versions. :(
- Sounds good, looks good on 2x blue LPs. My copy has "Made in GB" on the back shrink and no front hype sticker.
- Actually, I'm a bit disappointed by the sound quality of this blue pressing (Made in Germany) Everything sounds a bit muffled and flat. Does anyone else have this experience?
- Edited 2 years agoFirst of all, this is a great album. Sonically the pressing sounds amazing, the stand outs might actually be the 4th side (Lemon and Numb remixes). Daddy's Gonna Pay for Your Crashed car is also on point. However, my one criticism is that the vocals are sometimes a bit off, especially on the opening track which is a shame because that is a brilliant song. I think that is more true of the first vinyl than the second.
- Does anybody know if the blue pressing resolved some of the "pop and click" issues with "The First Time" on Side 3? I only have the black remaster release and, despite the fact that the remastering is perfect and, overall, the pressing is silent, there are a number of highly noticeable pops/clicks during "The First Time"....which is a shame, given that it is a beauty of a song. Thanks.
- One of U2's most interesting albums sonically and this blue pressing doesn't disappoint. Superb clarity that brings out the best of the album's intricate Eno soundscapes whilst the vocals and minimal guitar hooks are crisp and intimate. This is a wonderful remaster with no surface noise. Highly recommended just for the audiophile experience.
