based on the sudden influx of copies on the market, there seems to have been a black repress... anyone know if there are any differences? or is it identical to the original?

Ye and this one sound like a step up from the very mediocre (sound-wise) pressings of College Dropout, Late Registration and MBDTF. The bass is punchier and the sound overall feels more dynamic and layered.

As for the record, the artwork is just mesmerizing. Instant Kanye-classic.
