- This is a great single. Morrissey sings the song with characteristic aplomb and the instrumental back up is his equal. The clear vinyl and packaging work well, but I do wish they would include inner sleeves for these expensive vinyl singles - simple card is not enough protection.
I like the cover with the quirky frizzed head of Germaine Greer, but it does make me wonder: is it more than just whim which motivates Morrissey's choice of the protrait covers to his music?
Now Morrissey and Chrissie Hynde have both covered each other, they should get together to duet a double-A side 7" single of Everyday Is Like Sunday and Back on the Chain Gang.
