- Can only agree with everyone else here. This is a perfect representation of a typical Wighnomy Brothers set from that era: the mix weaves together minimal techno (like False) and more percussive techhouse (like Matthias Kaden and André Chrom) with more deep and emotive tracks (like the ones from Agoria and DJ Koze), layering tracks and rhythms to create a flow of music that is completely their own. This is what techno and house festivals sounded like in Germany in 2009, when the music was at its best.
- Edited 2 years agoAgree with the comments here. Absolutly stunning mix of records. Timeless. 11/10. Always cheers me up.
- The best mix I ever heard, listening now for the zillionth time. Perfectly layered and sequenced, pieces woven together. It is one of these mixes where you don't think about individual tracks, even if you know the tracks themselves - they take on new meaning in the context of this mix, which is an overall piece of music of its own. 100 stars.
- This could be the most underrated cd of 2009! And don't be irritated of the style announcement "techno, minimal". It is a perfect mixture of emotions and really deep sound structures.
