I think this is the best version of The Beatles aka "White Album" I've ever heard. It really is amazing. Also, I hear no problem in the bass department. I can follow Paul's inventiveness and Ringo's bass drum. Also, there's a doohickey you can buy called a four band equalizer, but I leave the controls flat with this edition.

After a long hesitation, I ordered the box. Yes, it's probably the best mastering ever of this record. But this edition isn't really good either, and it probably never will be. The bass (drums and bass guitar) are better than the older editions, but they are also essentially deprived of dynamics. This is probably due to the old mix, condition of the tapes used, whatever, will never get better.
I don't really like bonus tracks that much, but this is different. These aren't outtakes or anything like that, but rehearsals for the new songs, mostly simply played with acoustic guitars and a few jokes in between. I find it very likeable!
For almost 80 euros, however, I expect a better pressing quality. I had to remove press residues on three sides and two plates have a slight vertical run-out. Nothing that leads to a total devaluation, but not quite nice in relation to the price.

Happy I found one at Walmart for $21.98 today! Beautiful packaging. The albums are very quiet, nor road noise, pops. Great package.

I contributed this to burntable on my MOTU M4. You can hear clips of this exact pressing in hi-res (on my Rega Planar 3 with a Elys 2) by searching for the drop by id: 11292396 – would love any feedback

the only thing I don't like about this set is that number from the front cover is missing, the apple label doesn't look bad but the original apple label looks a lot better

good quality from what I heard when my friend played it for me, but helter skelter was lacking SO HARD in the bass department, and evidently that's just how this entire thing was mastered. It's fine if you can balance it with a stereo but without any equalization it comes out a little flat.

If you only get one of Giles remixes, this is the one you need. I am not a fan of remix albums, this on the other hand is wonderful. And yes, the demos are essential.

I was blown away by the sound of the album and demos, worth every penny.

I have lots of copies of this album. Mono's, original's, UK's, the '78 (UK) white vinyl and more, and this is one of my favorites. Beautiful pressing, packaging and sound. Recommended!
