Anyone know if they'll press more copies? These prices are ridiculous

Folks, The pressing I have is absolutely woeful which was purchased in 2020.
Side 2 is incredibly bad and the first track on side 2 "And Dream Of Sheep" is the worst I have ever heard. The surface noise and distortion is just too much. Have cleaned it five times to see of that made a difference but no joy. Straight into the bin. Not sure of its just a bad pressing. Just waiting on availability now. But what an absolutely masterpiece of an album! Anyone else experienced these issues??? Thanks

damn should've bought this before the stranger things gremlins got their hands on it

Pressing is ok, though compressed sounding. My copy is flat and quiet other than the final two tracks, which have non-fill causing a lot of surface noise.

Don't pay anything above twenty dollars over this record. You're a sucker for falling into a hype over a Netflix series. They printed over MILLIONS of copies.

Interesting comments...I was a little arrived today and I have to say I think this is absolutely wonderful. Its full, dynamic, detailed and jumps out at you at every corner. Bernie has done a good job on this.. imo possibly his best work. There is a little crackle on side one sadly but its not a deal breaker at all (and I'm very fussy!) Optimal are a little inconsistent with QC at the moment. Wet cleaned on the project and rehoused in a mofi inner and its spot on..a classic worthy of anyones collection ..ill be doing a YT review soon on Marky-mark Vinyl nut

A fantastic, atmospheric and thoroughly enjoyable (and nostalgic) album! Very pleased with this remastering, pressing and this copy. I understand others have not been so fortunate or satisfied. Side A is undoubtedly 10-20% quieter than Side B, which is louder with more audible, albeit minor surface noise– primarily on earlier tracks, and more distracting in quieter passages. I love the R/L channel play, instrumentation and depth on the album's later tracks- much more so than all these years I've listened to this on CD and streaming.

It’s fine. My other copy is the pink and white marble from Canada that got recalled for poor sound quality. This is definitely much better but still doesn’t sound as good as this album could/should sound on vinyl. Any other recommendations for better pressings?

                    First copy:
Very very odd pressing... The first side is pretty flat and has some strange mixing, such as the entire side being quiet and The Big Sky in particular sounding extremely quiet. However, the second side sounds a LOT better, blows the fidelity of the first side out of the water completely. Idk what happened with the mixing that would cause this, but at least it overall sounds good.

                    Second copy:
I very much agree with my original review, however Side A sounds a lot better than I remember it being. Perhaps I just got a better copy, I dunno. Glad I got it before prices predictably skyrocketed however

My "go to" copies on vinyl are definitely the original UK or Dutch pressings. For me, the "Big Sky" swap was a deal-breaker. I'm not asking for my money back, I just won't ever play this again...
