This is everything you don't want out of an ambient reissue. The music itself is fantastic and groundbreaking, I have nothing bad to say about it at all. But the pressing is just so bad. When it wants to be quiet the music sounds gorgeous, but unfortunately, you will rarely get moments like that.
Loud crackles/popping on 1/1, skipping not just on that track but 1/2 as well. First time I played this fresh out the package it played a good half a minute of silence in the middle of track 1/2. After cleaning it began skipping on what I assume was the same spot and got stuck in a loop. There are too many moments where the ambience is abruptly interrupted or distracted with the surface noise. It's ridiculous and unacceptable for a release of this nature. Especially when it's supposedly supposed to be heavy-duty. This is a terrible reissue and I regret not paying attention to where it was pressed before buying it.

Music: 9/10
Pressing: 3/10

Great remaster and packaging, though the pressing is on the noisy side, and a noticeable warp; as mentioned by other reviewers here . You may need to buy a few copies until you hit the right one. This is a constant issue with records pressed at GZ Media; poor quality control, and crappy low-grade / noisy vinyl compound. These issues will continue to occur, until we get more pressing plants, and Universal move more of their production away from this company.

Beautiful copy. Flat and quiet. Included original inner, but no download card.

Pretty notable dish warp, but I'm not too beat up about it; doesn't seem to affect the sound any. Maybe I'm just a goon and lost it but can't find the DL voucher anywhere; still not too beat up about it.

I must say, i'm surprised: i bought this one to see if i'd get lucky and this pressing is far from being bad.
Record is flat. Quite heavy. The original inner is there. It plays mostly without any surfce noise (maybe a little hiss on 1/1).

Honetly it could be almost perfect if it wasn't for cyclical pops during the last minute on 2/1. I guess GZ won't ever make something perfect...
If you're on a budget, try this one first before the 45rpm version, it might play well!

what you would expect from troubled GZ Media. noisy with pops on all but one (b2) of the tracks. loud pops. warranting a vg/g grading - brand spankin' new and washed. i knew i was screwed when i saw the 'made in the Czech Republic' sticker on the shrink. if only they'd print where it was pressed on records these days - on the back in fine print. save us a lot of money and misery. shameless GZ Media have no business making vinyl records for music lovers. did not contain a download voucher (twist that knife)

My copy also had a slight dish warp. Plays fine, and sounds great overall.

Ordered two copies from Amazon, both had significant dish warp. Too bad! Sounded good when I played one side with a heavy center weight.

Fantastic pressing. Clean, clear and quiet. And the downloads are WAV files.
