outstanding re-master by miles showell and abbey road !!! I own the E.G editions and they are noisy, this is dead silent and really lets this album and the details breathe a lot better dynamically. . I also just ordered the 45 rpm version and if this 33 sounds this good i think i'm going to be in for a real treat with the 45 mastered pressing.

Pressing is dead silent, great dynamics over all.

        A must have ambient classic!

I just played this for the first time and thought it sounded great. After the end of side 2, I realized that I was on 45 rpm. Interestingly, there is no proper speed noted! How very Eno.

As others have stated, excellent 1xLP pressing. "Mastered at Abbey Road" in the deadwax

A great pressing, I have the EG reissue of this from the eighties which is distractingly noisy. Will never go back to that now.

Sounds awesome. Flat, deep black vinyl. It's not easy to do ambient on vinyl -- any noise can really get in the way. But somehow they did it right with this one. Artwork is perfect, though I kind of wish it came with the "ON LAND" commentary that original copies did.

                My favourite ambient album!

Sounds great, nice thick vinyl. Little surface noise. Haven't compared it to the half-speed version but didn't really want a copy split over four sides at 45rpm.
