Reviews
Often bare but with bursts of high activity in the sub phrases of uncomplicated structures, CDB returns to the mean with his signature sort of style. Faded grey digital strings and punchy tripple kick snare combos loop to eerie chord motifs. Just enough bitey dirge to make transition to inner, baron flatland ambient tracts reveal their pensive depth.
Musically there are tracks with effortless interplay between aged samples and warmly played out arrangements. Not portentous yet very engaging with well explored lines for the breaks.
