i get mad even thinking about this pressing. It Arrived with black discolouration all over the B side, the record edge is rough and fraying??? and it seems to have a slight warp too. miraculously it still plays fine, and sounds good but it’s fucking crazy how I have thrift store records from the 70s in better condition then this.
I was probably just unlucky (maybe not based on other comments) but regardless I shouldn’t have to roll a dice on whether or not my brand new $40 record is in good condition. Atleast it plays and sounds good; I guess that’s what matters the most

I can confirm that this pressing is fantastic. Dynamic range is wide, which means quiet is quiet and loud is loud. Lots of detail in the high frequencies. It's a perfect pressing. If it sounds bad, check your set up. Make sure your tone arm is aligned well.
God im so dissapointed... Got to be the wordt sounding record ive ever bought new. It skips and crackles and pops all over. The packaging is gorgeous amd and the dynamics of sound and pressing are great but the defects are just terrible. It felt like a really cheap thin pressing and was also slightly warped. The edges are sharp and not well cut so access red residue probably scratched the record... Im quite upset :(
I have ripped the disc to 24/96khz, and discovered that the music on here has got a full spectrum, not like other releases cut at 22khz. I guess that the whole production has been made at 96khz, in the digital stores and streaming we can only find the one at 16/44khz.
Btw the whole record has an average of 11 rms, little more dynamic than digital, sounds bit more open too. Luv the release. Any comment?

I don't know what everyone's problem with this pressing is. It's goddamn incredible. Has plenty of dynamics to it. Highs are not favored over lows. Sounds bright.

This album makes no sense on a vinyl record. It's pristine, digital electronic music. The pressing is dull and lacks mids and mid highs severely. It's really tubby with an attempt to mediate the dullness with more super high frequencies. Just get a FLAC download of this. This pressing is only worthwhile as a shrine object. I truly love the music on here and admire Sophie greatly. If this were to be done properly on vinyl, it HAS to be on black (it is STILL the most silent, sorry), most premium grade, super silent vinyl. Then it may be worth $50+. The way it is, you get what you pay for. $20-$30 double album with a lot of blemishes, inconsistencies that just do not do service to this awesome music. Giving the pressing two stars just because the music itself does not deserve that.

sounds great except “it’s okay to cry” is a bit noisy with surface noise etc and “not okay” skips A LOT, barely got any of the song to actually play. other than that, looks beautiful, packaging is gorgeous and the poster is HUGE too!
