Reviews
With a name like "The Forest," you'd expect this release to stay in the rhythmic tribal mode that it starts out in. However, it gradually evolves into more of an ambient electronic sound which evokes science imagery of rocket missions and astronauts. A lot of narrative voices announce the space mission, and are interspersed with a panoply of nostalgic outtakes from many sources to keep things interesting. Overall, this is not an aggressive mix, but a more relaxing trip.
