These recordings were made 9-10 December 1999, at legendary jazzclub Fasching, an almost 50-year-old, downtown Stockholm establishment (it opened in 1977). A third, closed gig was arranged 11 Dec. for Rolf's personal friends and (former) colleagues, with several different jam sessions said to celebrate his 50th b-day some 8 months earlier (!)...if you like me prefer the bluesy side of Roffe, this double album can be seen as his tour de force and a must have. He and the band were really on top of their game (I was there on Dec. 10).
