File this one under 'Supposedly terrible albums that are good listens, actually'. The 80s production somehow sounds fine here in 2024, and Bob is in good voice. The whole comes across as spare and a little incoherent, but when approached as a longish EP it is actually a fun and sprightly addition to the Dylan catalogue.

This pressing is recommended, by the way. Clear with nice, if limited, dynamics.
