- Edited 2 years agoHave a listen to 'A Trip to Paradise' again ....... then have a listen to VDT - 'Brainstorming' from the Tanzlust EP on Container Records from 1991. It's the same bassline exactly. Add to the mystery that 'Brainstorming' shares a very strong resemblance to the bassline of Man Machine Featuring The Forgemasters - 'Man Machine' on Outer Rhythm from 1989 and there, ladies & gentlemen, you have the beauty of late 80's early 90's - tracks influencing each other and creating 3 superb EP's from one idea/sample/innovator and each with wonderfully new flavours !
Edit: .....and only 3 weeks later I find How & Little - 'Engineers Dream (Overtime Mix)' from 1990 on the City Limits US house label with precisely the same bassline
