- Cleaned with ultrasonic machine before playing. Unfortunate occasional pressing noise on this quiet album (sounds like a quick shhhhhhCHKKK). Happens a handful of times.
- The biggest representative of modern ambient music is now expected on each of his releases. Here is the sequel to Encores 1 EP , which was released last year, emphasizing an acoustic and minimalist approach of Nils Frahm's music. In this sequel, the colors are more varied, going as far as synthetic sounds. The first two tracks that open the EP, are quite classic, the good surprises are on the B side, with this Talisman track, beautiful sounding thumping sound piece, with an almost religious integrity, worthy of a movie soundtrack by Terrence Malik. The conclusion is much more rhythmic, arpegiators pave the way for an energetic melody, clear and positive. An already indispensable EP.
