Reviews
- Edited 2 days agoAlthought Tjader is generally known to have been at his best in the late 1960's, this album stands out as my favorite. It's a perfect blend of Tjader and the Jazz funk of the early 1970's.
His cover of Donald Byrd's Xibaba was a nice treat and is what caught my eye when I came across this album recently. It's a sonic masterpiece from start to finish. A bona fide expression of jazz fusion.
If you come across a copy, you should definitely pick it up.
I'm Glad to own it.
