This album is now 35 years old and doesn't sound old at all !
For me it still works as fresh and haunting when I bought it back in the early 90s.

Thank you Severed Heads!

This album seriously warped my ears as a wide eyed 15 year old and is largely responsible for my warped tastes in audio delights. It still sounds as fresh and interesting some 30+ years later... or is that nostalgia..I don't think so.

My favorite Severed Heads LP and one of my favorite albums period...not a bad track on here, aesthetically pleasing, sonically daring (check the full 23" mix of "Gashing The Old Mae West"). Set among these gems---Exploring The Secrets Of Treating Deaf Mutes, Godsong, A Million Angels---is the crown jewel, a song in the running for greatest electronic dance track in existence: Dead Eyes Opened.
