Such an incredible hellscape of sound! The vinyl mix is incredible, aside from the few (just a few) popping sounds that I heard in some of the quiet parts. Even those were just barely noticeable and I can count them on one hand. I love the packaging and the art created by A.J. Garcés Böhmer, it just drives home the feeling and concept behind the album incredibly well. The blood red colored vinyl looks beautiful and is housed in an inner sleeve that showcases more of Böhmer's art
There is also a short story that comes with this release and it's a great mood-setter and companion-piece to the album. It was written by vocalist Leo Ashline and he did a great job at capturing the disgusting atmosphere of the record in writing.
Overall, I'm extremely happy that I was able to snatch this one. If you are a fan of the band and have a chance to get this limited release I would say go for it without a doubt, because every aspect of is just incredibly well-done. I can recommend this if you like uncompromising and frantic music that is actually able to slow down a few times effectively, even if you haven't heard a Street Sects album before.
