- Bought this album from the merch table at the show -stunning performance, incredible album.
My copy has several staticky/poppy spots and is noticeably noisier through the purple half of the vinyl, which is clearly audible and equally disapointing. It's pretty much a deal-breaker to me, sadly. Otherwise, the sound is deep and dynamic -awesome rich sonics. I'd like to replace this version with a quiet press, perhaps one of the opaque color versions might fair better? I cleaned the discs several times and use an anti-static gun, but no change. - High quality pressing of a masterpiece!!!! Totally amazing! No difference between purple and pink on my copy. Definitely one of the best and most interesting release of 2019 ! FANTASTIC!!!!
- As others have mentioned, the purple vinyl has a louder noise floor than the pink vinyl. So during quiet passages, you can barely hear the surface noise change slightly between vinyl colors. Not ideal, but overall probably not a deal breaker. Other than this, the sound is very good on this LP. Well mixed, fat bottom end, good mids/treble balance. Can be played extremely loud without ear fatigue.
My first copy, disc 1 had a significant dish warp and a few very loud pops. Replacement copy is pretty much flat, very minor edge warp.
Download code worked on my copy. 192 kbps mp3s (LAME!). - Perhaps it should be pointed out, that there's a deluxe edition which had been packaged with a T-Shirt and an autographed lithography. Should we create a release ? There's also an autographed release though.
- Amazing album, very quite vinyl pressing and great sound, bass and cymbals sound fabulous, i'm really happy they split it into two discs. Artwork is also beautiful. Mine arrived without the download card. All in all a very recommended high quality product.
- I still can't believe I got this on vinyl for $20 CAD with free shipping on Amazon. I think someone realized the mistake because the price was doubled the next day. :D
- Edited 6 years agoThe purple half of the vinyl is significantly noisier. Very odd. Pink half is fine. It's not a deal breaker, but certainly noticable during quieter passages. Also had issues with the run out grooves starting before the music ended on all sides. Returning that one. Keeping the second copy where that was not an issue. Both sets have noisy purple half's on all discs, though. Nonetheless, great album!
