Off the bat my copy did not have the issues with static or warping, I think disc one is ever so slightly off centre but this is not audible as far as I can tell. Mine sounded clean and warm, the louder moments had the power they were meant to and the quiet moments were full yet intimate. It may be a gamble to get this pressing in regards to sound quality, but it is a gamble that could very well pay off for you, as the quality of the album speaks for itself.

I seem to be lucky, because my version sounds quite fine. It is not crazy dynamic but I do not have unbearable static or surface noise. It is definitely not quiet, but sounds alright.

My pressing is extremely off-center and sounds like s.... Without doubt I will return it.

Ordered from Transgressive and side A/B horribly warped. Complained and was sent a replacement which is exactly the same. Suspect whatever they are left with is a bad batch. I’ll be looking to pick this up used from a seller who can vouch for theirs being flat.

Nice in quiet. Not as dynamic and full range as I’d like but at least it’s not that first pressing. Fuuuuuck that record. Glad I sold it and bought this repress. First press was genuinely in listenable. I’m happy with it!

The center label of Disc 1 Side B was not glued down on my new copy. The edge of the label was attached but the rest was bubbled up from not having adhesive on it. I returned it and I am waiting for a replacement.

This does sound great but unfortunately both of my discs are warped slightly and it appears off-center. The stylus looks like a little rodeo cowboy trying to hold on. Thankfully it doesn’t appear to be enough to impact the sound, though I may need to find another copy.

EDIT: OKAY. After some significant and thorough cleanings and brushing downs, the record is finally sounding very good. Still some surface noise but ultimately it sounds significantly better! Album is still warped, sleeve is still damaged lol.

                  ORIGINAL IMPRESSIONS:
I'm not sure what everyone is talking about, but my copy is almost entirely static. I can barely hear the album underneath all the static. I'm going to try and give it a thorough wash and reply back, but as it stands, I can't recommend purchasing this at all.My copy also came slightly warped and the outer sleeve was damaged (shipping package was in perfect condition, so damage must have occurred in warehouse).

My first copy arrived with the sleeve scraped and bent, tons of what looked like shelf wear, and multiple gouges in the vinyl that rendered a sizable section of side A unplayable. It almost looked like someone ran a hot soldering iron an inch across the grooves-- looked more melted than scratched. With the second copy, the vinyl was much better, but the sleeve was still mangled. Both were ordered new at the time of release, straight from the Antlers website/main distributor. Not sure what they were doing, but there were serious QC issues with this release.

Super stoked to have this on vinyl, avoided buying the other pressing due to horror stories. Sounds amazing.
