Great album, not massively keen on the mastering/production on all tracks though - sounds 2D/brickwalled in places like Beck’s and St Vincent’s more recent poppier albums. Compressed to the nth degree. I dunno maybe streaming or CD is better for these kinds of albums? Or maybe studios need to stop relying on late 90s early noughties studio gimmicks? Maybe it’s just me…

This record sounds really amazing--very full and gorgeously detailed. With so many midtempo & slower songs, I wasn't expecting the whole album to be so interesting, but the harmonies alone are worth the price.
Any time I see "CB" etched into the deadwax, I know it's a keeper!
