Show All 12 Reviews- Beautiful pressing in sound and color. Awesome album from a severely underrated band. Highly recommended
- surface noise may be eradicated on colored vinyl with a good wash ! spin clean for exemple
i made it twice (on a castle facce record : thee oh sees orc and on a blood incantation record both colored)
they use sand sometimes during the manufacturing process !!!! - Looks absolutely stunning, but the pressing is quite poor unfortunately, as others have noted. Where was the QC on this release? Loads of noise throughout most tracks on both sides :-/
- Side A is full of surface noise and quieter and less dynamic than side B. Sad because the album itself is dynamic as hell. At least it looks pretty.
- Awesome after "Field of Reeds", but unfortunately just a few little cracks at the very end of side B.
Better after a few more listening!
Great music :-) - Great, moody music and excellent dynamics, which makes the constant surface noise even sadder! The record looks great, but maybe the label should've stuck with black vinyl
- Edited 11 months agoTried multiple copies to find a good one.
It's far from being the best record in my collection, but overall it's OK (almost quiet on side A, a little less on side B).
TNP should care a bit more about the QC and less about gimmicky releases like this one... - Incredible album by a band that is working in a field of one right now. There is some surface noise between tracks, and it's not the loudest release I've bought recently, but that is kind of to be expected when the music has such a massive dynamic range, and it doesn't affect the music. Certainly the beauty and quality of the artwork more than makes up for it.
- Good press and beautiful vinyl. A bit of surface noise like on every vinyl, expecially in colored ones
- My copy is full of surface noise, especially at the end of side b. I have also expected really good bass response after hearing digital copy, but I am a bit disappointed. Very good album though.
