Left Ear excels itself once more with a four track selection from his 1993 CD and Cassette only album 'Ancestral Call' on the Drum Records label. The tracks are very different from his 1977 'Enough Is Enough' Afro-Rock jazz tinged album, which saw a Soundway Reissue in 2017. His relocation in time and space from Nigeria to New York brings with it an entirely new soundscape, a fourth world fusion of African rhythm and nineties technology. The results speak for themselves, in the eternal now, it feels as if the four tracks are as much a product of 2023 future as 1993 past.
