This release misprinted Battle Against “Clowns” as “Crowns”.

I played this soundtrack day in day out in the late 80s, driving my roommates crazy.

A couple people have mentioned differences between various pressings. Could somebody please clarify this?

Also, is the 2016 version (which Milan used) a "remaster" or a "rerecording?" Yamashiro's notes left me confused.

so which version so far has been closest to the first english dub's mix (ie 'Mutation' having more drums during part of the breakdown and a little more guitar in 'Exodus'), and especially which one has a version of 'Shohmyoh' without any vocals on the parts used for Tetsuo and Kei's battle?

I still own the JVC CD version of this soundtrack. Was going to upgrade but apparently it's been mixed differently sound wise and from the issues with the vinyl think I'll pass.

This manga, this movie, this score...Same power, same poesy. Always. It has changed my life when i saw and hear them as a kid circa 1993.
Eternal respect and love Otomo sensei.
