Reviews
- Ma version Vinyle de chez Kingdom Records - KV6006 - Distribution Vogue de 1973 . J'adore cet Album !
- My variant 3 copy? has all the above text info, apart from the layout of the text below 'Made in England' on each side, eg, 331/3 NOT 33-1/3. The word Music is below Aristocrat on side 1. GEMA, NCB on side 2?? Could this be a later pressing?
- I have a Decca 1st test pressing of this, as well as 1st NM. I'm gradually comparing the two, and so far the 1st is far duller than the test. The test is not only brighter and cleaner, but the drums are noticeably higher in the mix and seriously punchy. Can anyone confirm if it was remixed for general release? Does anyone know how many tests were made? (I heard only enough for engineers and band) Are there any other differences I haven't identified?
- The sleeping girl on this album's cover was intended to be in the nude, but almost at the last moment someone decided she had to be covered up. The uncensored cover photo was printed in Sounds at the time. You'd think someone would have brought out a reissue with the original artwork reinstated. Or might that be more "problematic" now than it was in 1973?
