I got a great price on E-Bay and purchased this one deaf. I am a Richard Davis, Joe Henderson, Stanley Cowell and Eddie Henderson fan. Only Eddie is still with us and he is putting out some excellent modern jazz btw. On first listen the album was a bit disconcerting because stylistically there is some variety. Upon further listening I began to become less concerned about how different each cut is and just enjoyed the product. The players give interesting performances. This is a pretty good LP musically. My copy sounds good too.
