- Still one of the best Dub Techno albums ever made. I love this album, its such a shame this 2 artists only did one album. 5/5

- This begs for a reissue. It is awesome. Please. Someone have pity on those of us who want to own a physical copy of this gem.
- Edited 9 years agoThis was one of the first and only records that I was ever introduced to by either Evan Marc (Bluetech) or Steve Hillage. I was very lucky to have discovered the album right when it was available.
It would be expected, that a rarity like this gained a much higher rating than the music would merit. At the time I didn't even think about it much... However, this truly is one album, that actually is as good, (if not better) than the reviews would suggest.
A minimalist, moody album - something that's not normally "my cup of tea" - I never disliked it even from the first listen. But as I've returned, this one seems to get better with each listen. It's even a bit haunting, when every listen is enjoyable (and different), but you don't think about it much and forget about it for some time... still it just comes back, and each time you welcome it with open arms.
So, if you're expecting catchy melodies that hook you from the start, you'll likely be disappointed. But if you like the mood it creates at first - preferably on some calm occasions - you will surely embrace the whole album. It's filled with detail, that on the second listen you'll wonder why you didn't notice the first time around... and on the third one... Well, you get the point.
I can't say that it's one of the greatest albums ever created... but now listening to it again, I really would like to. Personal preferences aside, it is definitely a set of some awesome music. This one will stay with me.
5/5
(PS. not selling) - Edited 9 years agoAwesome album, the best Hillage's electronic project (wish I'd realeased in Vinyl LP)
