Ohhhh What beautiful memories. The best of the early 90's very advanced for its time I still have the copy from its premiere in 1991 in perfect condition I had never seen the video and at times it reminds me in its unbeatable style of "You" by Ten Sharp coincidentally from the same year

I love this song by Gregorian called "Once In A Lifetime". I brought my 12" copy when it first came out in 1991 on Metronome records. I loved everything "Enigma" sounding at the time and this record was just perfect. Beautiful female vocals, gorgeous synths with a sultry beat and exquisite melody line. I can see this gem selling for big bucks. I am glad I got my copy. I also love their other single "So Sad" they only released two singles. PS this record is NOT over rated at all it's a gorgeous masterpiece I still love it in 2021 just as much as I did when I first brought it brand new back in 1991.

I think this record is a bit overrated and over priced. Yeah the song is nice but nothing so special. You can get a better tracks or other records for a fraction of its value. This isn’t even a rare record. had 2 of this, sold them 10 years ago. Be wise don’t go for the hype! But if you love this because it has a good memories or sentimental value to you then buy it. This is not for everyone!

Excellent track and its remixes is not for all pockets and ears difficult to get, very few copies, the Dutch pressing is perfect with an exquisite sound, I have the copy since it was a novelty, obviously the one who criticizes it is because he cannot buy and want to get it. Some people don't understand that to get music you have to pay for it. We all pay for something we want. Impossible to live on offers

Extremely high prices for a record that isn't rare at all. Discogs vultures trying to push it even further. People should stop buying this record at the silly prices it goes for.

As for the music, "Once In A Lifetime" is a nice downtempo / pop track. It's not ground breaking and not for everyone, sound is very lighthearted and somewhat cheesy.

I managed to pick up a copy of one of the CDMs for a relatively low price. My copy started rotting probably since day 1 of storage. Doesn't matter much to me as the copy I picked up was already in rough condition.
