Absolutely average. Word word word word word and so forth.

"Starry Night" mimics early house styles; that round bass, repetitive piano chords, well done but derivative. "Han Pan", soft and nice, with a hint of a dancehall beat in there. My preferred track for being slightly more original. Otherwise, overall nothing too dramatic or inventive, but gentle and comfortable music with a hint of sexy.

MIX WITH: Pender Street Steppers - Falling.

You know why I really like this EP? It's a reasonably priced new disco single, with colorful full artwork on both sides on the cover. I'm kind of tired from all those techno and house singles with no artwork, or sometimes even with no sleeve at all. I think it's funny when people say they collect vinyl records because of beautiful covers and artwork, saying the records got rich credits and information on the sleeves. So cool! And then there is me, who has over 50% of records in my collection with no artwork at all - just pure white or black disco bags... sometimes there is no info at all. Just a stamp. Well that's modern electronic underground dance music for ya! 'Starry Night' is such a nice throwback to the piano rich italo deep house tracks. Well done Peggy Gou, or whoever put that track together for her...

My best friend Babish Patel really likes this EP, he considers it to be one of Peggy Gou's very best ones. But then that is not surprising to me as he is in love with Peggy Gou. As I have mentioned before, he sometimes sings the Buddy Holly hit song "Peggy Sue" but changes the words to say "Peggy Gou", so it is actually about Peggy Gou (not Peggy Sue):

          If you knew Peggy Gou
Then you'd know why I feel blue without Peggy
          My Peggy Gou
Oh well, I love you gal, yes, I love you Peggy Gou
          Peggy Gou, Peggy Gou
Oh how my heart yearns for you
          Oh Peggy, my Peggy Gou
Oh well, I love you gal, yes, I love you Peggy Gou (etc)

One day he hopes to meet Peggy Gou in person, and kiss her with great passion!!

Really nice first pressing for Peggy’s new label, dead flat thick vinyl. Music is on point too and bound to enhance your summer 19’. Cheers!
