If you're going to wear the Boards of Canada influence so clearly, at least do it well.
BEAUTIFUL EP. BRAVO!!! Well done, Sir.
"Tims" is my favorite track here. Horror soundtrack shiz. I like spooky melodies.

The beat on Melting Pot (vertical spaceBar) strongly reminds me of audiotrack 3 by Boards of Canada from the tape that's not on discogs. The so called Random 35 Track Tape (R35TT).

Compressed so tight. Amazing tunes that soar. A spiritual tantra. Not just braindance, much more.

A2 and B2 both great. Another strong release.
This is remarkable for textures & the way sounds respond to each other in a way I almost thought Autechre was involved!

Brainwaltzera's latest outing on Analogical Force not only boasts an amusing, pun-tastic title, but also a sextet of cuts that draw influence from a variety of leftfield electronica styles old and new. It's this off-kilter retro-futurist fusion that makes the producer's releases - and this one in particular - essential listening. Highlights are plentiful throughout, from the melancholic ambient chords and slo-mo beats of "Polter Seesaw 1 & 2 (Left Of Grounds)", to the John Carpenter-on-acid throb of "Tims", Squarepusher horror movie flex of "Melting Pot Vertical Spacebar" and Richard D. James-as-Polygon Window niceness of "Buggy Isotope V2".
