Actively listening to the album while I type this review. I'm absolutely loving this album. I listen to Japanese city pop often, but usually only female artists. This compilation has a few male artists sprinkled in there and I find there music just as enjoyable as the female artist's! Definitely going to look further into these artists' discographies.

Bought my copy and both records were warped very badly. Will replace them with the colored version and see if they are in better condition.

If you are very afraid of going to the dentist like I am, do what I did, that is to say I had the dentist put this on a Sony Discman connected to a small Bose speaker. It was so relaxing I forgot I was having a filling done. At one point I even started to fall asleep and the dentist had to tell me to wake up!!

Got a bad copy as well. First disc has loud crackling and ripping noise throughout both sides, even after wet-cleaning. Contacted LITA and Boomkat (where I bought), let's see what I can do about it

Update: Boomkat came back to me, they said they're well aware of the issue, and they're contacting the label distributor. Hopefully a repress is on its way soon.

Update: after a long wait, LITA will send a replacement to me themselves. Looking forward to it

If anyone purchased the deluxe version from LITA and is willing to part with the poster I'd be happy to discuss paying a reasonable price. I tried to buy the set from LITA direct but can't justify the $108 postage charge for it all to Europe. We really get hammered for anything they sell over here. Soooooo pricey.

So I finally got my replacement copy from the big nasty AMZN and the the first disc doesn't that horrible noise that I experienced before. The sound is excellent for the most part. I was getting some weird distortion on a couple of latter tracks (my VMN40ML stylus doesn't normally have inner groove distortion) but it was very very subtle. All in all it was definitely worth the 30 USD I paid.

Anyone else having sounds issues with this release? I got mine on Friday and the first LP has really bad surface noise and static. Even after giving it a wash in the spin clean it still sounds horrid on both sides. Weird because the second LP sounds just fine.
