Reviews
- When listened to on its own this album is a solid 4 stars - ☆☆☆☆
But when listened to with other albums, say after 2, 3, or 4 really solid albums by other artists, this album struggles to rate 3 stars - ☆☆☆.
I'll give On Fire the benefit of the doubt and settle on 3 stars out of 5. There's definitely something compelling about this music - I think its probably the bass player because the singing and guitar playing gets less charming with every spin.
Bottom line, I like it for some reason. (But don't listen to it after Chairs Missing by Wire because On Fire will seem ridiculous.) - Where did they press this release? On vinyl i read "Made in England". So, they made it in UK and then shipped copies also to the States (and in the States they changed the barcode)? But here on this page i see "pressed by R.T.I.", so... is it a US vinyl?
I point out that for Discogs "Country" is the Nation of distribution (absurd but this is the fact).
