I would love another repress of this album. I think it would be SO sick if they could add a phamplet, about this guys life, the making of this album, letters from the prisoners, and pictures. It would be amazing. Is there someone who is in the business of not just doing represses but giving the magic they deserve.

I was a state prisoner at Tehachapi Correctional Institution from 1973 into early 1976. I knew Ike and my bunk was next to Rico Fanning. Although there was much violence and racial tension during these years, I as a Politically active White, respected and got along with both of these men. I am thankful to Ike White for being instrumental in bringing Eric Burdon and War in for a live concert. I also got to listen to a couple sessions of the recording of this album. Not too often as security was very tight around the musicians and production crew. (Probably the first and last time an album was recorded at Tehachapi).
I remember Rico Fanning as a very intelligent man who was writing a book about his experiences. I've looked for the book for years, but don't know if it ever came out. If anyone knows where I can get a copy of the book or album, please let me know. Bob Hill ---- B-49714.

Reminds me of Sly Stone's '73 album, 'Fresh' (especially 'Love an Affection' compares to 'In Time'). Then I see the production notes - Greg Errico, no less!!
